Some of his other contributions to academia consist of a co-authored chapter in a book titled Reading the Bible in Islamic Context. This explored the reception of Abraham’s sacrifice in the Bible and the Qur’an. He has further held position as a vice president for the Islamic Society and served as a student mentor for international and domestic students.

Currently, Talha is doing his postdoctoral at the University of Wales Trinity of Saint David. He is looking to build on his previous experience and continue to pursue his topic of interest and its application in interfaith and intrareligious dialogue.
