‘The Art of the Mandala in Interfaith Contemplative Practices: Cosmograms of Sacred Wisdom for Harmony, Wholeness and Wellbeing’
Abstract: This talk centres upon the art of the mandala from an interfaith perspective. It presents an
overview of the mandala’s use within different cultural and religious traditions, and draws together
some shared themes and values. These collective wisdom strands are then woven into a reflection
upon the insights they deliver and their practical application for personal growth, mental health and
wellbeing in the current UK mental health and well-being context.
