Johnson Elijah Amamnsunu, Accra, Ghana
Johnson is a doctoral student in interfaith and interreligious dialogue at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in the United Kingdom, and also, a fellow of the KAICIID International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue. He obtained a master’s degree in Christian ministry and leadership at the University of Roehampton in London and a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. He received the Harmony Scholarship Commonwealth Scholarship for his doctoral and master’s degrees respectively. He is also, a community engagement officer offering training and co-organising conferences on African Christians and Muslims relations in the United Kingdom. The conferences that Johnson organise help leaders to address questions surrounding memories of interreligious conflicts and how they inform and shape behaviours towards peace and coexistence. Additionally, Johnson works alongside educators to explore how interfaith dialogue can be included in academic curricula for educating future religious leaders.
